Cup of Culture

NEW TO THE SAULT© has partnered with various local cafe's within Sault Ste. Marie to host a twice monthly casual social evening and afternoon called "A Cup of Culture". A Cup of Culture will provide newcomers and long-term residents with an opportunity to enjoy coffee or tea, meet new people, and learn about one another's culture and traditions. This will also allow newcomers to practice their conversational skills in a casual setting.

Smaller Events

Throughout the year, NEW TO THE SAULT© hosts a series of small events to bring newcomers and local residents together in a social setting. NEW TO THE SAULT© has organized a Hay Ride, Boat Cruise, and a Christmas Light Bus Tour and continues to plan new and exciting activities to provide networking opportunities for newcomers. NEW TO THE SAULT© has also participated in many community events this past summer including Buskerfest and the Canada Day Parade to name a few.
