SCCC - Call to Join the Board!

The Sault Community Information and Career Centre Board of Directors are inviting you to join our Executive Board. The Executive Board consists of business professionals such as you, who can assist us in directing, organizing, guiding and monitoring the overall operations of the SAULT COMMUNITY CAREER CENTRE. The Executive Board meets approximately 9 times per year and select committees may meet an additional two or three times per year.

Candidates must have a commitment to the quality of life in its broadest sense to make a difference in the lives of people and our community. They must also be committed to supporting the SAULT COMMUNITY CAREER CENTRE in making its Board of Directors representative and inclusive of the entire community, including people of varied ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation and physical abilities. Candidates must have innate leadership, management and interpersonal skills, patience and good humor, and must be able to participate in and sustain collaborative group efforts.

This is an exceptional opportunity to foster the growth and development of a community minded not for profit organization in maintaining their mission – ‘Provide employment and career development in order to support individuals and businesses in Sault Ste.
