Overview

Volunteering your time can provide you with many rewards beyond the opportunity to help out great causes.  It's a great way to make connections and form lasting beneficial relationships with like-minded people.  For those who are looking to get a job in social services, or switch careers into the field, volunteering for organizations can open up many employment opportunities you would otherwise not have access to.

Why Volunteer for New to the Sault?

With New to the Sault you can offer your support, skills and expertise in a variety of ways.  Funded by Employment Ontario, and sponsored by Sault Community Career Centre, New to the Sault operates year-round providing essential services to newcomers.  Each year we host a major event called "Passport to Unity" and we always need extra help in preparing for and holding this unique event.
